The ETS has decided to stop administering the TOEFL exam in Iran as one of the first tangible effects of the new sanctions levied against the country by the international community. People in Iran are concerned actions like such will negatively impact their children's opportunity to study abroad. Without the TOEFL, how do you supposed these students to have the opportunity to even come out of the country to study?

This is sad. Just because the country's government is having problems with other nations, it now affects the children of their country.

The TOEFL exam and the GRE exam have been reinstated in Iran. Students who wish to study abroad will be able to take these entrance exams.
