  • The Student Employment Office provides support to the entire campus and community throughout the hiring process of student employees.

Working a part-time job on or off campus enables students to apply knowledge being learned in the classroom and strengthens their skills for future employment. Students who work while going to school have an opportunity to help pay educational costs and gain valuable experience and skills to enhance their career goals. The networking and contacts gained during this time will prove helpful when they need professional references upon graduation. FACT: 75% of all U.S. college undergraduate students work part-time.

    ECU Students
The Student Employment Office maintains an online job database, to help ECU students connect with part-time job opportunities, both on and off campus. To apply for these job listings you must be a current ECU student with a valid Banner ID. To view job listings, click here.

All ECU student employees are required to provide valid employment verification documents (examples of the most commonly used documents are drivers license and social security card, or passport) when completing an I-9 form on or before their first day of work. Failure to provide this documentation in a timely manner may delay the student’s payroll process. To view a complete list of acceptable documents for employment verification purposes, click here.
