  Holman Learning Center Support for Students With Disabilities Office’s Testing Accommodation

  Holman Learning Center supports EMU’s Students With Disabilities Office (SWD) by helping to provide special testing accommodations for students registered with SWD and certified to receive testing accommodations. SWD will provide students with directions on how to request special testing accommodations from their faculty or from Holman Learning Center or CATE Lab. SWD gives the student HLC’s test accommodation form which is to be filled out and submitted to HLC a minimum of one week prior to the requested test date.

  Faculty will sometimes provide the special testing accommodation. If faculty choose to provide testing services such as extended time or a quiet testing location in their own department, they are more than welcome to do so. The student would then work with his/her faculty to determine time and place.
