The Writing Center is open to all Emory & Henry students who wish to use its resources to grow as writers. Our motto proclaims, "Let us help you help yourself." To achieve that goal, we are here to help you from process to product. The Center contains a variety of resources to meet various needs. Writing tutors are happy to meet with students on a drop-in basis or by appointment. Students with special concerns may contact Dr. Mitchell at 944-6225 to make an appointment to plan a strategy for success.
The Writing Center includes a writing laboratory with resources for writers in McGlothlin-Street Hall, Room 233. This facility is available after 5 pm each weekday and between scheduled classes during the day. Here, students may write without distraction and, depending on what time it is, call on tutors to assist as needed.
Visit our website for hours tutors are available, contact information for making appointments, and access to other resources that will help you to grow as a writer.
