Academic advising at Beloit College, like all activities of the College, is fundamentally linked to the mission of the institution. In collaboration with students and staff, faculty advisors play a significant role in accomplishing most of the goals cited in the mission and goals statement.
A good student-advisor relationship is critical to the success of students and it is a role that Beloit College faculty members embrace with enthusiasm.
The Faculty Director of Academic Advising, Diane Lichtenstein, provides resources and referrals to assist students, faculty and staff in their advising endeavors. Diane is located in WAC 103 and appointments may be arranged by calling (608) 363-2602 or emailing her at acadadv@beloit.edu. Diane's Spring, 2009 office hours are: M, Th 1:30-3:30; T, W, F 2:30-4; and by appointment.
