  • The Olive Kettering Library is named in memory of the wife of the late Charles F. Kettering, Antioch trustee, inventor, and engineer, who developed the automobile self-starter and high-octane gasoline.

The Olive Kettering Library is a member of OhioLINK, the Ohio Private Academic Libraries (OPAL) consortium, and the Library Council of the Southwestern Ohio Council for Higher Education (SOCHE).

The library houses the Antioch College collection of more than 375,000 volumes, including an extensive collection of bound periodicals, many of which date back to the nineteenth century. In addition, it offers information in microform (46,000+ pieces) and carries subscriptions to over 900 periodicals, both online and in-print. A library of over 4,000 phonograph records is also available for circulation, as well as a collection of DVDs, CDs, and standard VHS available for circulation. Antiochiana contains papers and publications significant to historians and researchers.

Alumni and friends of the College are encouraged to support the Olive Kettering Library. For more information about making a pledge for a capital or planned gift, please contact us at 937-767-2341.
