Rick Santorum called President Obama a snob in a campaign rally for expressing his desire that all Americans to go to college. He blames President of placing the earth above man. Sheila Jackson Lee, a democrat from Texas says that higher education is not just for snobs in reply to his criticism.
When Sheila Jackson Lee was asked whether Rick Santorum’s accusation of President deliberately causing unemployment, she answered that she is the member of presidential campaigns and she has been fortunate enough to participate in democracy to take part in the campaigns.
She said Rick Santorum is making the most ridiculous comment. She questioned whether we would call a person who is seeking opportunities for kids, young people and families to get an education a snob. She asked whether Latino parents, African –American parents and Caucasian parents who seek an opportunity for their children are snobs.
Sheila Jackson Lee raised a question to Rick Santorum that if he runs for a series office like the presidency, why does he want to live on a foot and mouth disease where he is not telling truth to Americans.
Lee said that she welcomes diversity of thought and speech. She wants Rick Santorum to have a forum of speech. She stated that if Santorum is seeking the presidency of the US, he must be held responsible for his speech. She added that she is going to hold Santorum responsible for the country that has been viewed as a place of hope by the world. In our nation, people have chances,
where reason talk is the requirement of the day, where the civilians control the military. Lee specified that we are not pleading for expel of the government every moment.
We have a fair amount of respect for those who rule us. This is not because that people cannot be challenges, but we realize that the government is of the people. We need to listen to what people say. However, what Rick Santorum is doing is making a disruptive divide that cannot be brought together. If he ascends to the nomination of the Republican Party, what he would expect. Lee questioned whether he expects to draw women, poor people and working Americans to vote.
Sheila Jackson Lee stated that President Obama’s higher education initiatives have earned him good reputation among women. She expressed her belief that he is leading in the vote for women. The reason is that he offered a responsible and logical approach to America. It is wrong to call anyone, no matter whether he is the President of the United States or a normal person a snob for promoting education. Education was promoted by the pioneer who went west.
They first built a schoolhouse, so that the children of the west that were settled there could get education. The ex-slave, the immigrants and all others want to give education to their children. Lee completed her statement by saying that Rick Santorum should be held responsible for his inappropriate comments.
