  • Description:
  • The Master of Science in Nursing Program enables students to pursue their educational
    endeavors with faculty and clinical preceptors who have expertise in the student’s chosen
    area of specialization. This program is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing
    Education (CCNE). The College offers three paths to the MSN degree:
    - MSN with Nurse Practitioner (NP) Concentration: This concentration is designed to provide the advanced education and clinical experiences necessary for a nurse practitioner to deliver primary care in community settings.
    - MSN with CNS-Education Concentration: This program is designed to prepare RNs for the advanced practice role of clinical nurse specialist (CNS) and equip them with the skills for
    nursing education.
    - MSN with Nurse Anesthesia Concentration: This full-time, 28-month curriculum prepares nurses for advanced practice with the knowledge and skills to deliver safe and effective anesthesia care and assume leadership roles in the practice setting.

    - A grade point average of 3.0 (4.0 scale) for total credits completed during the last two years of a baccalaureate program
