The official prerequisites for this course are Analysis I (18.100B), and either Albegra I (18.700 or 18.701). Students who have taken Linear Algebra (18.06) may consider this course, though 18.700 or 18.701 are preferable.

There are two kinds of homework assignments in this course: daily homework problems and graded assignments. The daily homework problems are not graded but will be used on the graded assignments. There will be a total of four graded assignments based on the daily homework.
There is one midterm exam and one comprehensive final exam.
