The final project consists of the following: groups of three or four students pick a country and write a short macroeconomic program. The idea is to do a diagnostic of the country, what are the two or three top issues, and decide a strategy. This should not have more than five to 10 pages. Long and boring documents are left exclusively to the U.S. Treasury, the International Monetary Fund, and the World Bank. These projects should go straight to the point. The project has several progress reports, whose due dates are shown in the table below.
This project is worth 30% of a student's grade.
