Problem sets (including full program source code and output) are to be submitted before the start of the lecture listed below. Answers are posted 48 hours later. Problems may be done collaboratively but each student should work hard on every problem. Students should state clearly the contributions of everyone involved or that they worked alone. This section contains downloadable files that require Microsoft Excel (ending with .xls) or a program able to read text files (those ending in .pl, .nb, and .txt). Mathematica® software is required to run the .nb files in this section. Microsoft® Excel software is recommended for viewing the .xls files in this section. Free Microsoft® Excel viewer software can also be used to view the .xls files.
